Accepting the study entitlement offer

Admission results

All the applicants will be informed about the admission results when the student selection process has been carried out. The admission results will be published in the spring. Applicants will have one week to accept the scholarship and the study place.

One place per student provision

According to the one place per student -provision, a student may accept only one study place in Finland in a degree programme leading to a higher education degree during one academic year. The purpose is to ensure admission to higher education institutions for as many students as possible.

In addition, please note that you can only accept one study place in one EMJMD programme that starts during the same academic year.

Accepting the study entitlement

The admission results are delivered to applicants by email. Admitted applicants will receive an admission letter with instructions on how to accept the offered study entitlement. The offer must be accepted within the deadline stated in the admission letter. If the Student fails to do this, the offer will be automatically withdrawn.

The decision to accept (or reject) a study place is a binding choice, and you cannot cancel or change your choice later. When you accept a study place bindingly, all your other study programmes will automatically be cancelled. Please note that if you do not accept the study place in the EDISS programme within the deadline, your study place and possible scholarship will be automatically withdrawn and transferred to the next student in line.

Please note that giving incorrect/false information or failing to provide the university with the required documentation will lead to direct cancellation of the admission.
