Mudita reflects on the rich and multifaceted learning experience offered by EDISS. She highlights learning as the most rewarding aspect of the programme—not only through academic coursework, but also through daily interactions with classmates from diverse cultural, academic, and national backgrounds. This international environment enabled her to broaden her perspective while deepening her passion for data science.
One of her most memorable experiences was participating in a hackathon, where close teamwork, time constraints, and creative problem-solving came together in an engaging and rewarding way, culminating in a winning project and an opportunity to compete in the finals in Helsinki. Beyond technical knowledge, EDISS provided her with strong theoretical foundations in data science while significantly strengthening her time management, teamwork, and communication skills.
The alumna emphasizes the importance of being present and making the most of the many learning opportunities within EDISS, while also valuing the small, shared moments with peers.
Professionally, the programme helped her become more focused and goal-oriented toward data science research, and she aspires to contribute to the field through published research in the coming years.
