Reflecting on her first year within the Erasmus Mundus EDISS programme, Motunrayo describes an experience that was both diverse and intellectually challenging. The programme provided a strong foundation for multiple career pathways, enabling her to explore opportunities that bridge academic research and industry practice.
Through coursework and project-based learning, she gained valuable experience in applying theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges faced by companies, while also contributing to meaningful research activities.
Beyond academics, the first year encouraged personal growth and cultural integration, including learning basic Swedish and participating in swimming courses. Her advice to future EDISS students is to fully embrace the opportunities offered by the programme—build friendships, try new activities, and make the most of the rich academic and social environment.
