Day 2 of the 2026 EDISS Winter School at the Norde Day 2 of the 2026 EDISS Winter School at the Nordea Campus in Helsinki was packed with insights, strategy, and inspiring conversations! 🚀

An exciting start to this year’s winter school as our first-year students explored their future academic paths and learned more about their second-year university options across the EDISS consortium.

We were also delighted to host two inspiring talks on the intersection of AI and quantum technologies.
🎤 Debayan Bhattacharya from @aaltouniversity presented insights into the current landscape of AI for quantum computing, highlighting both recent advances and open research challenges.
🎤 Ashish Dahal from IQM Quantum Computers @meetiqm shared an industry perspective on how AI is shaping the development and optimisation of quantum hardware.

From academic pathways to cutting-edge research at the frontier of AI and quantum computing, Day 1 set the tone for an inspiring week ahead.
