On Thursday 21.05.2026 morning from 9:00 to 11:30, students from the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree Programme on the Engineering of Data Intensive Software Systems (EDISS) will present the results of their one-year-long research projects.
You are welcome to attend the event and interact with the students on the 3rd floor of Agora, Turku Finland. Feel free to share the invitation with your colleagues and collaborators.
The event is organised as a student project fair, where each team will have a space to present their solutions and approaches live. All projects contain an AI (Artificial Intelligence) or ML (Machine Learning) based solution applied to a variety of application domains:
- Battery health analysis of very distributed Virtual Power Plant (poster – video)
- Integrating Kolmogorov-Arnold Networks and Evolutionary Game Theory for Interpretable Cancer Dynamics and Biologically Plausible Equation Discovery (poster – video)
- An Offline AI Assistant for Bioinformatics Pipelines (poster – video)
- From Black Box to Clinical Insight: Explainable AI in Computer Vision via Learned Textured Kernels and Energy-Based Reports (poster – video)
- CompactMD: AI-Driven Compression of Molecular Trajectories (poster – video)
